Change has come to The Hofstra Chronicle! The fonts are different, we’re playing around with the layout of articles and photos, we have people blogging and we’re working on filling our Friends List on Facebook with countless members of the Hofstra community. Oh, we’re also Tweeting!
With the Internet forcing print media to keep up with the fast pace of the web, we do not want to be left behind.
We understand the importance of reaching our readers at a quicker rate, so for example, we Tweet live from sporting events, the website is updated as frequently as possible with news, reviews, game recaps and etc. We even have a link to WHRU’s streamcast.
Our web site even functions as a sort-of forum. You can comment as freely as you want on articles that are posted. We just ask that you adhere to the social media policy that is listed on the contact page of our site.
If you have any suggestions or something you’d like to see implemented, we welcome them with open arms.
